ViruScore™ Pool Testing

Enabling a 6X Increase in COVID-19 Testing Efficiency

As part of Neura’s newest offering, VisuScore fuse the platforms behavioral intelligence insights with pandemic data to create a risk score. The score is employed by HMOs and labs to grade the probability of a positive or negative result on a four level scale ranging from “highest probability” to “lowest probability.

Three out of four models did not assign batches with even a single positive test to its lowest probability classification and the fourth assigned only a single positive test. These results point to Neura’s human behavior driven based testing approach playing a pivotal role in breaking infectious chains faster, and potentially saving millions of dollars by reducing the number of tests required.

Since the FDA's approval of pool testing, governments and countries have begun to adopt this testing method as a way to control the spread of COVID-19. Neura’s solution is a significant leap forward in the deployment of behavioral-intelligence tech in dealing with the pandemic, crucial to government efforts in controlling further outbreaks.

Pool Testing

In Neura’s study with HY Laboratories, Neura’s ViruScore predicted the correct outcome of tests with 98% accuracy out of a population of 1,000 tests.

Effectively, Neura was able to create a population sample with 2% positive infection rate, creating an optimal environment for pool testing enabling the HMO to increase testing capacity by 6X.
